In one of my tutorials, you have learned to create Multiple Stroke in Adobe Illustrator but in today’s tutorial, you will learn to create Multiple Stroke Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator. One more effect will be added to your Typography.
Step 1
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Select the Type Tool from the Tool Panel and click on the artboard to activate the type box. Now type your text on the artboard.

After typing the text, select the text and click on Create Outlines button in the Properties Panel, to make the text editable. After creating outlines, Ungroup the text.

Step 2
Again select your text and change the Fill and Stroke. Fill the stroke color and select No Fill for the Fill color. Therefore, there will be no color filled in the text.

Now select the Pen Tool from the Tool Panel and draw inside the text. We will draw our text with the help of Pen Tool.

Now select the outer layer of the text and delete it.

Step 3
After removing the outer layer of the words, press Ctrl + A  to select all and then press Ctrl + G to group all the letters.

Now go to the Menu Bar and click on Object. Place the cursor on Path and click on Offset Path.

When you will click on Offset Path, a dialogue box will appear on the artboard. In that dialogue box, set the Offset to 5 pt and Joins as Round. Now click OK.

In this way, you have created one stroke layer. Now follow the same process to create more stroke layers and your Multiple Stroke Text Effect is ready. You can also change the color of the strokes.
