Inline Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator
Today’s tutorial is on a Typography Effect which is the Inline Text Effect in Illustrator. This typography effect will be created without using the Type Tool.
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Now follow the steps below:
Step 1
After creating the document, click on View in the Menu Bar and select Show Grid. Again click On View and select Snap to Grid.

Step 2
Now select the Pen Tool and start drawing the letters of the text with the help of a grid. The text which I have selected for this tutorial is WORLD OF HAPPINESS. With the help of Pen Tool and grids, I will draw the letters. You can see in the below image how I have drawn the letter W using the Pen Tool.

Similarly, in this way, I will draw the remaining letters also.

To hide the grids, click on View in the Menu Bar and select Hide Grid.
Step 3
Now I will select the Direct Selection Tool and round the corners of the letters.

Now again select the Pen Tool and draw stroke lines inside the letters. The stroke color will be white.

In this way, you can create the Inline Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator.
