Today, you will learn to create Gemstone in Adobe Illustrator. The Gemstone that will be created in today’s tutorial is Jadeite Stone. It is a precious and valuable gemstone that absorbs all negativity.

With all positivity, let’s begin with the tutorial-

Step 1

Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document with RGB color mode.
Select the Ellipse Tool from the Tool Panel and draw an oval shape on the artboard. Fill is disabled.

Now select the Width Tool (Shift + W) and click on the right anchor point of the shape. Drag that point to increase the width.

Now create an Offset Path of -20 pt.

Now reduce its Opacity to 29% and again create an Offset Path, of -20 pt, of the selection. Fill this new Offset Path with #d7df23 and Opacity will be 29%.

Step 4

Again go to the Layer Panel and select that green oval that we had drawn in Step 2. Now fill the stroke with #3c2415 and increase the stroke size to 4 pt. I have added the stroke at this stage because I didn’t want the stroke color to blend with other colors.
I have also drawn an oval shape larger than the golden stroke and filled the stroke with the color code #3c2415.

Now make a few small oval shapes filled with white color and apply Gaussian Blur to them. (See the below image.)

Step 5

Now we will apply the Water Paper Effect to our Blend.
Go to the Layer panel and select the Blend Layer. Now click on Effect in the Menu Bar and place the cursor on Sketch. Then select Water Paper.
select Water Paper Effect
A preview of the effect will appear in a dialogue box. Click OK and the effect will be applied.
After applying the effect your Gemstone in Adobe Illustrator is ready.
