Today, we will create an Outline Portrait Effect in Photoshop. This Portrait Effect is easy to create. It will take a couple of minutes to create this effect in Photoshop. This Photoshop Effect makes the images stand out.

We simply need a model image and then we will draw outlines with the help of the Brush Tool. Later on, with the help of the Move Tool, we will drag the outlines slightly away from the model image to create a nice and attractive effect.

Step 1

Launch Adobe Photoshop and open the model image as new document. You can download high-definition images for free from various websites.

Click on the Create a New Layer icon in the Layers Panel and then select the Brush Tool. Select white as the Foreground Color or any other color of your choice.

I have set the Brush Size to 5px and Hardness to 100%.

With the help of the Brush Tool, we will outline the model. Initially, outline the eyebrows and eyes and then go with the others features. Also, outline the fine lines on face and minute details of the clothes. This will enhance your Portrait Effect.

Now select the Move Tool and drag the outlines slightly towards left or right. This will create a nice effect on the image.
