Scribble Circular Logo in Adobe Illustrator
Today you will learn something new in this logo design tutorial. We are going to make a logo in today’s tutorial. In all the previous tutorials you had learned typography, 3D effects, and flat vector art but today you will learn to make a Logo in Adobe Illustrator.
We will make a hand-drawn style Scribble Circular Logo in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1
We will make a circular logo design.
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Go to the Tool Panel and right-click on Rectangle Tool. Now select the Ellipse Tool.
Select the stroke color and disable the fill color. The stroke color is black (#000000).
Step 2
Draw a circle of size 280 X 280 pt.
Select the circle and click on the Offset Path button. Offset Path button is present in the Properties Panel.
When you will click on the Offset Path button, a dialogue box will appear. In that dialogue box, set the Offset to 2pt.
Check the Preview and click OK.
Step 3
Now create 10 more Offset Paths in the same way as the earlier step.
Press Ctrl + A and increase the stroke size to 2pt. Now click on Effect in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Distort & Transform and select Tweak.
A dialogue box will appear on the artboard. In that dialogue box, set the Horizontal Amount of Tweak to 5pt and Vertical 7pt. The Amount of Tweak Effect will be Absolute.
Check the Preview and click OK.
To give more Scribble Effect you can select the strokes individually and rotate them clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Step 4
Select the Ellipse Tool and draw a circle of size 215 X 215 pt and place it inside the strokes.
Select the circle and click on Effect in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Distort & Transform and select Roughen.
In the Roughen dialogue box, set the size of the effect 3 pt and Detail 50/in.
Check the Preview, if required make necessary changes and click OK.
Step 5
Again select the circle and click on Effect and place the cursor on Artistic and select Sponge.
Make the required changes of how you want the effect to look like and then click OK.
Your Scribble Circular Logo has taken the shape.
Now select the Type Tool and type the text. You can type the Brand Name, Company Name, and the Slogan or the Tag line of the company.
