Monogram Logo with Hexagon Shape in Adobe Illustrator
Today you will learn to create Monogram Logo with the help of Hexagon Shape in Adobe Illustrator. We will use the Polygon Tool, Pen Tool, Shape Builder Tool, and a few other tools to create this logo.
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a document of size 500 pt X 500 pt. Now select the Polygon Tool from the Tool Panel and draw a hexagon on the artboard. There will be No Fill color in the hexagon.
Select the hexagon and click on Object in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Path and select the Offset Path.
Now create an Offset Path of -18 pt. Check the Preview and click OK.
Similarly, create two more offset paths of the hexagon.
Now select the Pen Tool and draw a few lines from the center point of the hexagons. (See the image below)
Press Ctrl + A to select all the layers. Now select the Shape Builder Tool from the Tool Panel and start adding the paths of the outer two hexagons and lines to form the letter G.
Now we will remove all the extra paths. Let all the paths and the Shape Builder Tool be selected. Press and hold the Alt key. You will see a minus sign below the cursor. Now move the cursor over the paths which you want to delete.
We have to create the letter C with the inner two hexagons. So we will remove all of the other paths.
Now fill color in the letters, and your Monogram Logo with Hexagon Shape is ready.
