3D Leaves Text Effect
This tutorial will show you how to create a 3D Leaves Text Effect with Photoshop. You will require a leafy background image to create this effect. We will use the Horizontal Type Tool, Selection Tool, and a few Layer Styles in this tutorial.
Launch Adobe Photoshop and create a new document with White Color Background. Now follow the below-mentioned steps to create a 3D Leaves Text Effects with Photoshop.
Step 1
Select the Horizontal Type Tool and type a letter.

Go to File > Place Embedded. Browse your Leafy Background Image and place it in the document.
Step 3
Now hide the Image Layer and select the Text Layer. With the help of the Quick Selection Tool, make a selection of the letter.
Step 4
Unhide the Image Layer and add a Layer Mask. Click on the Add Layer Mask icon in the Layers Panel.
Right-click on the Image Layer and select Disable Layer Mask.
Step 5
Reduce the Opacity of the Image Layer and again select the Text Layer to make a selection of the letter.
Now select the Image Thumbnail and use the Quick Selection Tool to add leaves to the selection.
After adding leaves to the selection, click on the Layer Mask Thumbnail to enable it.
Step 6
Select the Brush Tool and set White as the Foreground Color. Press and hold the Left-click and drag the brush cursor over the selection to reveal it.
Increase the Opacity of the Image Layer. Then press Ctrl + D to Deselect.
Step 7
Click on Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer icon and select Curves to create a deep intense effect.
Now select the image layer and apply the Drop Shadow Effect to the Layer.
