There are few pre-set Metal Gradients in Adobe Illustrator that you can find in Swatch Libraries, but we will make our own Golden Gradient in Adobe Illustrator.
In today’s tutorial, you will learn to create Golden Gradient in Adobe Illustrator.
Launch Adobe Illustrator, create a new document, and follow the below steps-
Step 1
Select the Type Tool from the Tool Panel and type the word Gold.
Now we will make our text editable text. For that, select the text and right-click. From the pop-up options, select Create Outlines.
Again, right-click on the mouse and select Ungroup.
Step 2
Now we will open the Appearance Panel. Click on Window in the Menu Bar and select Appearance. The Appearance Panel will appear on the artboard.
We want to fill our text with a gradient and it is not as simple as filling any other color. To fill the text with the gradient, we have to create a New Fill layer in the Appearance Panel.

Select the text and open the Appearance Panel. Click on the New Fill icon to add New Fill Layer.
Click on the drop-down button to change the color of the Swatches. Fill it with the black and white gradient.
Step 3
Double-click on the Gradient Tool in the Tool Panel to open the Gradient Panel.
Now fill the Gradient Slider with the following colors in the same sequence-

#fbb040
#f9ed32
 
Gradient Type is Linear and the Angle is -30o.
