Today, you will learn to create a Circular Monogram Logo in Adobe Illustrator. A Monogram Logo is created by combining two or more letters. We will be using the Ellipse Tool, Blend Tool, Rectangle Tool, and Shape Builder Tool in this tutorial.
Let’s begin with the tutorial by launching Adobe Illustrator. Now create a new document with RGB color mode and follow the steps given below:
Step 1
Select the Ellipse Tool and draw a circle of size 345 pt X 345 pt. Select the Stroke color and disable the Fill color.
Step 2
Now draw another circle inside the first circle. The size of the circle is 55 pt X 55 pt.
Make sure both the circles are properly aligned at the center of the artboard.
Step 3
Now select the circles and click on Object in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Blend and select Make.
Step 4
Let the blend of circles be selected and double-click on the Blend Tool in the Tool Panel.
Blend Options dialogue box will appear on the artboard. In that dialogue box, increase the Specified Steps and then click OK.
Press Shift + Ctrl + G to Ungroup the circles.
Step 5
Now select the Rectangle Tool and draw rectangles as shown in the below image.
Step 6
Now press Ctrl + A to select all the shapes and then select the Shape Builder Tool from the Tool Panel.
With the help of the Shape Builder Tool, we will merge paths to create our Circular Monogram Logo. We will be creating the letter E from the paths, which we have created in the above steps.
In a similar way create three more letter E from the paths.
Now change the color in your Circular Monogram Logo.
