How to Draw a Snowflake
In the previous tutorial, you had learned to make Snowflakes drawings with the help of the Ellipse Tool and today we will use the Star Tool to create the easy Drawings of snowflakes in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Now select the Star Tool and click on the artboard.
A dialogue box will appear on the artboard. In that dialogue box, set the Points to 6 and click OK.
The stroke color is #00aeef and stroke size is 2 pt.
Step 2
Now select the star shape and create an Offset Path of -10 Points.
Object > Path > Offset Path
Now select the bigger star shape and reduce its stroke size to 0.25 pt. Then open the Brushes Panel and select the Dot brush under Elegant Curl & Floral Brush Set.
Step 3
Select the Pen Tool and to increase the stroke size to 1pt. Now draw a straight vertical line and two lines at 60o angle as shown in the below image. The caps of the stroke will be Rounded Caps.
With the help of Pen Tool draw v shapes on the lines.
Your Snowflakes in Adobe Illustrator is ready.
