3D Vase in Adobe Illustrator
In today’s tutorial, you will learn to create a 3D Vase in Adobe Illustrator in just two steps. We will use the 3D Revolve Effect and a few other tools to create the 3D Flower Vase.
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Now follow these simple steps to make 3D Flower Vase–
Step 1
Select the Rectangle Tool from the Tool Panel and draw a rectangle to create a background.
Now select the Pen Tool or Pencil Tool and draw a line with some curves. The shape of the line will determine the shape of your 3D Vase.
After drawing the line, select the stroke color and disable the fill color.
I have drawn two different shapes for the 3D Vase; one with the Pen Tool and the other with the Pencil Tool.
Step 2
Now select the shape drawn and click on Effect in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on 3D and then select Revolve.
3D Revolve Options dialogue box will appear on the artboard. Put a checkmark on the Preview and if you want to add any artwork on the 3D Vase you can add it by clicking on the Map Art button.
After checking the Preview, click OK.
Your 3D Realistic Flower Vase in Adobe Illustrator is ready.
