Let’s start the tutorial of Emboss Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator
 
Step 1
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Select the Rectangle Tool from the Tool Panel and create a background. Fill the background with color code #fbb040.

Now select the Type Tool and click on the artboard to type your text. Select the bold font style and increase the size of the text.

Step 2
Select the text and mark the Fill as No Fill.

Now open the Appearance Panel, click on Window in the Menu Bar, and select Appearance.

In the Appearance Panel, Click on the Add New Fill button to add a new fill layer in the panel.

After adding the New Fill layer, click on the drop-down arrow to change the color of the text. Fill the text with color #fddfb3.

Now click on Opacityand change the blend mode from Normal to Screen.

Now we will apply Gaussian Blur. Click on Add New Effect in the Appearance Panel and place the cursor on Blur and select Gaussian Blur.

 Set the radius of the Gaussian Blur to 2 pixels and then click OK.

Step 3
Now again add a New Fill layer in the Appearance Panel and Fill the color #fbb040.

Let the New Fill layer be selected and click on Add New Effect in the Appearance Panel. Place the cursor on Distort and Transform and select Transform.

In the Transform Effectdialogue box, set the Horizontal and Vertical Move to 4 pt. Check the Preview and click OK.

Step 4
Again we will add a New Fill Layer in the Appearance Panel. Select this New Fill Layer and drag it below the Fill Layer added in the above Step 3
 
Select the new layer added and fill it with color #000000

Now reduce the Opacity to 64% and set the blend mode to Hard Light.

Now open the Transform Effect dialogue box. Set the Horizontal and Vertical Move to 8 pt.

Now apply Gaussian Blur to it.
