Now to create Text Effect in Illustrator, launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. Now follow the below mentioned easy to draw steps:
Step 1
Select the Type Tool and type your text on the artboard. Select a font style for your text and also increase the font size.
By default, the color of the text will be black. Change the color of your text to #b33129.
Step 2
With the help of the Selection Tool, select the text and press Ctrl + C to copy the text. Then press Ctrl + F to paste the text in front.
Now select the text pasted in front and change its Fill color to # fbb040.
Alternatively, you can open the Layer Panel and select the top layer of the text.
Step 3
Let the text layer be selected and drag it slightly towards the left to create a text effect.
This will make your text looks like a 3D text.
Note: While making a text effect in illustrator always uses contrasting colors and while making a 3D text use a dark color for the background text and light color for the front text layer.
Step 4
Now with the help of the Selection Tool, select the bottom layer of the text; i.e.; text filled with #b33129. Then press Ctrl + C to copy the text and then press Ctrl + B to paste text at back.
Now select the bottom layer of the text (text layer pasted at back) and press Shift + Ctrl + O (Create Outline) to make the text an editable text.
Step 5
Let the bottom text layer be selected, then click on the Object in the Menu Bar, place the cursor on Path, and select Offset Path.
In the Offset Pathdialogue box set the offset to 20 pt and the check the Preview and Click OK.
Step 6
Select the offset path created and change its color to #621a18.
