Badge Logo Design in Adobe Illustrator
A badge logo can be a powerful way to establish a distinct and memorable brand identity. Whether you’re starting a new venture or rebranding an existing one, Adobe Illustrator offers a range of tools and features to help you create a captivating badge logo design.
With Illustrator’s vector-based capabilities, you can design a badge logo that is scalable and adaptable to various sizes and platforms. This ensures that your logo maintains its visual integrity and legibility across different applications.
When designing a badge logo, consider incorporating elements that reflect your brand’s values, industry, or unique characteristics. This can include symbols, icons, or imagery that resonate with your target audience and evoke the desired emotions or associations.
Color selection plays a vital role in badge logo design. Choose colors that align with your brand identity and evoke the desired mood or perception. Consider the psychology of colors and their impact on perception and brand recognition. Opt for a color palette that is visually appealing, harmonious, and effectively communicates your brand’s personality.
Typography is another important aspect of badge logo design. Select fonts that complement the style, tone, and message of your brand. Whether you prefer classic, modern, or decorative typefaces, ensure they are legible and visually balanced within the badge design.
Simplicity and clarity are key when creating a badge logo. Aim for a design that is clean, concise, and easily recognizable. Avoid clutter or excessive detail that may diminish the logo’s impact at different sizes or when reproduced in various contexts.
Aim for a balance between uniqueness and familiarity in your badge logo. While it should be distinctive and memorable, it should also be easy to understand and associate with your brand. Conduct thorough research to ensure your logo design does not infringe upon existing trademarks or logos.
Once you have created your badge logo, test its versatility by applying it to different marketing materials and platforms. Evaluate how it appears on various backgrounds, in different sizes, and across digital and print media. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal visibility and legibility.
Adobe Illustrator provides the tools necessary to create a compelling and impactful badge logo. Utilize your creativity, symbolism, and typography to design a logo that effectively communicates your brand’s values, establishes a strong visual identity, and leaves a lasting impression on your audience.

Next, select the shape and click on Object in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Path and select the Offset Path. Then create an offset of 15 pt.
Now select the offset path created and increase its Stroke Weight.

Now select all the shapes and click on the Shape Builder Tool in the Tool Panel. With the help of the Shape Builder Tool and Alt key, remove the unwanted paths.
After creating the remaining field lines, change the stroke profile of the lines to Width Profile 5.
