In this Basic Photoshop Tutorial, you will learn to Change Hair Color with Photoshop. You can Change the Hair Color in just 3 easy steps in Photoshop. We will use the Quick Selection Tool, Gradient Fill Adjustment Layer, and Blending Options in this Photoshop tutorial.
Let’s begin having fun with the images by giving them a new look.
Launch Adobe Photoshop and open a model image. Then follow the below-mentioned steps-
Select the Quick Selection Tool from the Tool Panel and make selection of the hair.
Click on Create New Fill or Adjustmnet Layer icon in the Layers Panel. Select Gradient from the options list.
In the Gradient Fill dialogue box, select a gradient color for the hair and click OK. Then change the blending mode of this layer to Color. (see the images below)
Let the Gradient Fill layer be selected. Now click on the fx icon in the Layers Panel and select Blending Options from the list. In the Blending Options layer style, under Blend If, set the sliders of Underlying Layer to blend the Gradient Fill layer with the Model image layer. Press and hold the Alt key to separate the sliders. (see the images below)
