In today’s tutorial, you will learn to make Pearl in Adobe Illustrator. Pearls are available in many colors and in today’s tutorial, we will make a Powder Rose Pearl.?
Tools that will be used are the Ellipse Tool, Gradient Tool, and Blend Tool. For effects, we will use Outer Glow and Drop Shadow Effect.
Now to make the Pearl Vector, open Adobe Illustrator, and create a new document.
Step 1
Select the Rectangle Tool from the Tool Panel and draw a rectangle to create the background. Fill the rectangle with the color code #ebd6e0 and disable the strokes.
Now lock the background so that it doesn’t get selected while creating the Pearl. To lock the background, first, select the background and then press Ctrl + 2.
Step 2
Select the Ellipse Tool or hit L (Shortcut key). Draw a circle of size 223.636 X 223.636 pt.
Now change the fill color of the circle. Fill the circle with a gradient and double click on the Gradient Tool.
With the help of this tool, we will make Pearl Gradient.
In the Gradient Panel, change the Gradient Type to Radial, and in the slider double click on the black color and change the color to color code #9d6378. The location of the slider pointer will be at 68.38%.
Step 3
Select Ellipse Tool and draw another circle of size 183.969 X 183.969 pt.
Fill this circle also with a gradient and open the Gradient Panel.
In Gradient Panel, the Gradient Type will be Radial and the colors in the slider will be white, and the color code #993366.
The Aspect Ratio will be 200% and the location of the slider pointer will be 41.36%.
Select the second circle and place it above the first circle but at the center. Place it slightly above the center point.
Step 4
Select both the circles and go to the Menu Bar. In the Menu Bar, select Object and place the cursor on Blend and then click on Make.
Set the Specified Steps to 50.
