In today’s adobe illustrator tutorial, you will learn to create a Circular Logo Design. Tools that will be used, while designing a Circular Logo, are the Pen Tool, Ellipse Tool, and Transform Tool.

So let’s begin with the Circular Logo Tutorial.

Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document. To design a circular logo, we will now follow the logo design process steps mentioned below:

Step 1

Select the Pen Tool from the Tool Panel and turn off the Fill color. Now draw a vertical line on the artboard.

Step2

Now select the line and click on Object in the Menu Bar. Place the cursor on Transform and select Rotate.

In the Rotate Options dialogue box, set the Rotate Angle to 30⁰and click on Copy.

Now press Ctrl + D a few more times to repeat the rotation.

Step 3

Select all the lines with the help of the Selection Tool. Now click right and select Make Guides.

Step 4

Now select the Ellipse Tool then place the cursor at the center point of the guide and draw a circle.

After drawing the circle, increase the stroke weight of the circle.

Step 5

Now select the circle and press S to select the Scale Tool. After selecting the Scale Tool, click on the center point of the circle. Then double click on the Scale Tool in the Tool Panel to open the Scale dialogue box.

In the Scaledialogue box set the Uniform Scale to 95% and put a checkmark on Scale Strokes & Effects. Check the Preview and click Copy.

Now press Ctrl + D to repeat the transformation.

Step 6

Now select the Scissor Tool from the Tool Panel.

With the help of the Scissor Tool, we will cut and delete a few paths from the circles to make a Circular Logo Vector in Adobe Illustrator.

After selecting the Scissor Tool, click on any point of the circle where the circle and the guide are intersecting and then click on another point. (See the below image)

After selecting the points, hit backspace to remove the path.

Step 7

Now we will click on the intersecting point of another circle. This time we will click on the intersecting point of the guide just ahead of the guide selected in the above step. (See the below image)

In a similar way keep on selecting the intersecting point of the succeeding guide and create your Circular Logo Design.

You can remove the guides with the help of the Layer Panel.

Now change the stroke color and your Circular Logo is ready. You can type the company name and if you can also change the direction of the logo by rotating it.
