Flat Vector Car in Adobe Illustrator
Creating flat vector art in Adobe Illustrator is an interesting thing. If you enjoy Illustrating then here is a new tutorial for you in which you will learn to create a Flat Vector Car in Adobe Illustrator with the help of few tools.
Follow the below steps and draw a simple vector art of a car in your illustrator-
Step 1
Start with creating a new document. Now select the Ellipse Tool from the Tool Panel or hit the shortcut key ‘L’. Draw a medium-size circle at the center and then draw two ovals, of small size and medium size respectively, and place them on the left and right side of the circle.
Now select all the shapes and then select the Shape Builder Tool and add the shapes as shown in the below image.
Step 2
Select the Rectangle Tool from the Tool Panel to draw the base of the car. Draw the rectangle at the bottom of the shape created with the Shape Builder Tool. (See the below image)
Now again select the Shape Builder Tool and subtract the extra shape to create the outline of the Flat Vector Car.
Step 3
Now draw two same-sized circles with the help of Ellipse Tool and place them above the outline of the car at the bottom side.
Activate the Pathfinder Panel by clicking on Window in the Menu Bar and click on Pathfinder. Now select all the shapes and click on Minus Front in the Pathfinder Panel.
Step 4
Now it’s time to draw the wheels of your Flat Vector Car. For that draw two circles of the same size and place them in the right position. You can see it in the below image.
Now we will add windows to your Flat Vector Car. Draw a circle inside the car and convert it into a semi-circle. Then draw a line perpendicular to the center. Select the semi-circle and the line and click on Divide in the Pathfinder Panel.
After that Ungroup the selection and select one part and drag it slightly away to give it the look of a window.
