Scribble Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator
In the previous tutorial, you had learned about creating a fur effect and today you will learn to create the Scribble Text Effect. You have to follow just a few simple steps and you are done with the effect.
It’s really easy to learn as well as easy to use but should be used properly with correct settings.
Below are the steps to be followed to create the Scribble Effect in your text.
Step 1
Create a document of any size and select type tool. With the help of Type Tool type the text in which you want to create the effect.
Be wise while selecting the font style. A wrong choice will ruin your effect.
Step 2
If you wish you can change the color of the text. Now select the text with the Selection Tool and click on Effect in the Menu Bar. Place your cursor on Stylize and select Scribble. You can see the below image to follow the path.
Step 3
When you will click on Scribble, a Scribble Option Window will appear. As soon as the Scribble Option Window will appear you will notice that your text has a scribble effect which is by default set in the Scribble Option Window.
Now play with the settings to set an effect that best fits your font style or you can choose some pre-set Scribble Effects by clicking on the drop-down arrow in the settings box.
Practice all the preset effects by changing the settings and changing the font style.
