Water Bubble in Adobe Illustrator
We all have played with Water Bubbles in our childhood and today, we will play with them in Adobe Illustrator. In today’s tutorial, you will learn to make Water Bubble in Adobe Illustrator.
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a new document.
Step 1
Select the Rectangle Tool and draw a rectangle. The size of the rectangle will be the same as the size of the artboard. Fill the rectangle with the color #ebfefe. (You can use a darker shade for background)
We have created the background for our Water Bubbles.
Step 2
Now select the Ellipse Tool and draw a circle of size 225 pt X 225 pt.
Now, we will fill the circle with a gradient. First, fill the circle with a gradient given in the Swatches Panel and then double click on the Gradient Tool to open the gradient panel. Select the gradient type as Radial.
Select three colors in the gradient slider:
#ffffff– Location 0% Opacity 0%
#ffffff– Location 73.24% Opacity 4%
#00ffca– Location 100 % Opacity 60%
Now set the Angle to 20.6°.
Step 3
Again select the Ellipse Tool and draw a circle of the same size. Fill the circle with white color and reduce the opacity to 30%.
Now place this circle above the first circle.
Now select the Pencil Tool and draw the two shapes as shown in the below image.
Fill these shapes with color #cceffc and reduce their opacity to 36%. Now we will place these shapes inside our Water Bubble.
Step 4
Now select the Pen Tool and then draw two arcs as shown in the below image.
Then select the Ellipse Tool and draw two small circles.
All the four shapes will be filled with white color and later on, we will apply a Gaussian Blur Effect to them.
You can set the blur effect accordingly.
Place all the shapes inside the Water Bubble a shown in the below image.
This is how you can make Water Bubble in Adobe Illustrator. Select all the layers of the Water Bubble and group them. With the help of the Alt key, you can create more copies of the Water Bubble.
