Abstract Wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator
In today’s Illustrator tutorial, you will learn to create Abstract Wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1
Launch Adobe Illustrator and create a document of size 1080 pixel X 1920 pixel. Now select the Rectangle Tool and draw a rectangle, same as the size of the document. Fill the rectangle with black color.
Press Ctrl + 2 to lock the background.
Step 2
Now select the Pencil Tool and draw some random strokes. Fill those strokes with Gradient. I have filled the strokes with Spectrum Gradient.
Increase the stroke size to 3 pts and you can even change the angle of the gradient in the Gradient Panel.
Step 3
Now select the Twirl Tool and the cursor will get changed into a plus sign inside a circle.
Now move the cursor all over the stroke to transform the paths. When you will place the cursor on a path, that path will start changing its form.
You can see in the above image how the smooth paths changed their form with the help of the Twirl Tool.
Step 4
We will change the form of all the paths with the help of the Twirl Tool and then you are done with your Abstract Wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator. If you want you can apply any effect on the background.
